About Me: My family and I recently moved to the area after living in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for the last 24 years. I started teaching Zumba in Ethiopia and loved that it was not only a fun way to get exercise—but also a fantastic way to encourage one another, develop friendships and build camaraderie. I want people who come to my classes to get a great workout and leave feeling physically, emotionally and mentally better than they did before class started. I’m forever a student of yoga and find that practicing regularly with experienced teachers and attending workshops keeps me inspired as a teacher. About Me: I have been a fitness enthusiast-turned-fitness instructor for 16 years, with a long love for indoor and outdoor cycling. I knew after my first cycle class that it’s my happy place. I love to motivate with kindness, passion—and the person sitting next to you! The most important (and initial) instruction I give to every class is to smile, and say "hello" to your cycle friend and neighbor. A welcoming smile and some good tunes will help you pedal a little harder, sweat a little more and feel better and stronger when you walk out the door. I promise!

My motto is "two wheels over four wheels—anywhere and everywhere". I have traveled thousands of miles and through multiple countries in the saddle, self-supported and with beautiful views. It’s a beautiful way to see the world—so ask me any time about cycling and long-range touring.
